Creating a file Upload Assignment

A file submission or Upload Assignment is a simple non-speech-based assignment that allows for students to submit documents or other files for a grade.

Note: Videos and Visual Aids cannot be submitted in file Upload Assignments. To have students submit a video, create a Speech Assignment with Speech Video turned on. To have students submit Visual Aids, create a Speech Assignment with Visual Aids turned on.

1. From inside a class, click "+New" in the top right corner and choose "Upload Assignment."

2. Give the assignment a name.

3. Give the assignment a due date, this is required.

4. Give the assignment a point value, this is required even if it is zero.

5. Give the assignment a description or instructions. This description will be visible to the students and is required.

6. Click "Create."
