We recommend that you grade a student's speech presentation on a touch screen device while they are presenting.

Using the Instructor Evaluation During a Live Presentation
Choose "Instructor Evaluation" below the speech you'd like to grade.
Choose the student who is about to speak.
Expand the first section to see the criteria and possible scores.
Tip: Expand all the sections before the student starts speaking to save time.
As the student begins speaking, click the "Start Speech" button in the Speech Details tab.
Score the student as you see fit.
Click "+ Comments" on each criteria to leave a comment.
Choose from your preset Quick Comments.
Or type in your own individualized comments.
Expand the next section and repeat steps 5 and 6 until all criteria have been graded.
Click "End Speech" when the student stops speaking to stop the timer.
Click "Save" to save the grade as a draft.
NOTE: Saving a grade as a draft means the student cannot see the the grade or any feedback.
To finalize a grade, see below.
Tip: We highly recommend not finalizing a grade during the class period as that will make the the grade and feedback immediately available to the student.

Choose "Instructor Evaluation" below the speech you'd like to grade.

Score the student as you see fit.

Finalizing an Instructor Evaluation Grade
When you are ready for the student to have access to their Instructor Evaluation grade and feedback, click "Mark Graded."
The grade will now be available to the student.
We highly recommend that you finalize grades outside of the class period.
