Adding a YouTube video as a Visual Aid

Updated: Aug 13, 2022

  1. In the Visual Aid builder, click the "+Add Visual" bar.

  2. In the pop up, click YouTube Video, and click continue.

  3. Give the video a name. This name will be what is displayed on your controls during your presentation.

  4. Provide the link to the YouTube video. (We recommend that you click share on the video and copy that link, not the one at the top of the page).

  5. Click Continue

  6. On the next page you can preview the video, scroll down and adjust the start and stop times (in seconds). If you want to show the entire video, your start time will be zero and your end time will be the number of seconds into your video you want to stop at. [End time in seconds = (minute x 60) + seconds. Example: 2:25 would be: (2 x 60) + 25 = 145 seconds.)

  7. Click Continue

  8. Preview the video

  9. Then click Add

You can preview your video by clicking on the button labeled with your YouTube video name. To move the visual aid or delete it, click the three dots next to the title.
