You can submit Speech Video assignments for your students via an app on your mobile devices. The app is available in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
Note: Speech Practice videos cannot be submitted via the Pops Capture app.
Note: Instructions may vary from device to device, however, generally follow these same procedures.
Submitting a Pre-Recorded Video
Log in to the app using your Pops account.
Click your class name to open the class.
Click the speech you wish to submit a video for.
Click the student you wish to submit a video for.
Click "Choose video from library."
If prompted, grant Pops access to your Photos & Videos.
Select the video from your device library.
On the next screen, click "Upload Recording."
You should be redirected to the Uploads page to monitor the progress of the upload. If not, press the menu button and choose "Uploads."
DO NOT CLOSE the app while the upload is in progress.
Once a green checkmark appears next to your upload, you can close the app.
Live Recording a Video
Log in to the app using your Pops account.
Click your class name to open the class.
Click the speech you wish to submit a video for.
Click the student you wish to submit a video for.
Click "Record a new video."
If prompted, grant Pops access to your Camera and Microphone.
Place your body in frame as shown on the screen.
Click the red circle to start the recording.
After speaking, press the red square to stop the recording.
Click "Done."
If prompted, you can save the video to your device's Photo & Video library, if you'd like.
On the next screen, click "Upload Recording."
You should be redirected to the Uploads page to monitor the progress of the upload. If not, press the menu button and choose "Uploads."
DO NOT CLOSE the app while the upload is in progress.
Once a green checkmark appears next to your upload, you can close the app.
