So what do I do????  Help me please…

  • Be prepared

  • Practice your presentation

  • Realize people want you to succeed

  • You are the reason they are there

  • Concentrate on the message not the medium

  • Be audience centered – Talk with them

  • Channel it into…

    Excitement

    Motivation

    Energy

    Move – use planned gestures

  • Give attention to Introduction/Conclusion

  • Repetition

  • Visualize you doing well – Positive

    Know what to expect

    Analyze the audience, setting, and event

    ASK – Who, what, where, when, why, how

    Prepare for possible questions

  • Eye Contact

    3 segments of audience

  • Project your voice

  • Use visual helpmates (aids)

  • Get sleep – well rested

  • No caffeine

  • Use H2O

  • Watch other speakers

  • Gain experience
